Your new role Your new role as a Technical Sales Engineer will involve driving sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities in both established and emerging markets. What you'll need to succeed What you’ll need to succeed is a strong technical background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in technical sales. You should have a deep understanding of electrical systems and products, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs is crucial. You should be willing to travel extensively across Ireland to meet with customers and attend industry events. A minimum of three years’ experience in a customer service role is required, and a leadership or management qualification would be an advantage. Experience with CRM systems is necessary, and Salesforce experience would be beneficial.
