An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Assistant Caseworker as part of the Professional Standards Administration Team.
The team you will join assists officers and staff in responding to enquiries from internal and external customers. You will be responsible for generating and updating case records to facilitate the public complaints system and investigations carried out by the Professional Standards Department.
This is a challenging role within which you will provide a high level of internal and external customer service. It is therefore essential that you possess good communication skills.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working with others to provide a good level of service to customers and their ability to work with others as part of a team, enabling that level of service to be met.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office is essential as is a competence in audio typing.

Essex Police offer agile working which allows some flexibility in terms of work arrangements. Due to the operational nature of this role, it will be predominantly office based within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.

Essex Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £24,462.00.
