In this role, you will be a crucial part of the manufacturing process, operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that projects meet client specifications and quality standards. This position also offers training opportunities to upskill you on the latest machinery and technology, furthering your career in the precision engineering sector.
THE ROLE:
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce components according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Ensure the accurate measurement and inspection of components, making adjustments as necessary to maintain precision.
* Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.
