Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England). Who will you be managing?
15. We are a supported living service based in Sheffield with our ages ranging between 20 and 50.
16. We have a range of challenges and a team of Advanced Support Workers that support us to live our best lives possible. These challenges include Mental Health, Autism, PDA and complex learning disabilities.

These include: attending art groups, dancing classes, going to the seaside, going out to concerts also we have an indoor games room with football table, pool table, we have card games, board games, bingo, karaoke and much more.
20. We follow policies and procedures, that are there to support and guide us and in our best interest to do so. We go the extra mile for the people we support and for each other and always have a smile on our faces!

21. As a service we are made up of 8 individual flats, we have an office where everyone is welcome sit and chat. We also have a communal area where people can participate in a range of games or just relax and watch a movie. We have a large garden including a ping pong table, patio area for bbq's in summer and grass to even kick a football about.
22. The service is easily commutable from Sheffield town centre with 2 bus services that run every 30 minutes.
23. Wordsworth location is perfect for the people we support the local community is friendly, we have lots of activities to do around us, lovely walk and we are close to everything needed for the day to day lives.
