Requirements:
1. Current Home Office or transferable SC Clearance required.
2. Proficiency in implementing and configuring SCOM to monitor and manage IT infrastructure.
3. Experience in developing custom management packs to meet specific business needs and enhance monitoring capabilities.
4. Strong collaboration skills to work with system administrators, network engineers, and build team members.
5. Ability to provide technical guidance and training on SCOM best practices.
6. Skills in monitoring system performance, configuring and securing networks, including LAN and WAN across public and private networks.
7. Familiarity with Windows operating system patching and administration.
8. Experience in handling L2 and L3 incidents and documenting progress.
9. Proficient in VMWare and Active Directory.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the delivery of a unified, real-time biometric service for the government.
2. Participate in a matching programme that includes fingerprints, DNA, and facial matching to assist in capturing, authenticating, verifying, searching, and matching individuals' biometrics.
3. Monitor, patch, and administer the Windows operating system.
4. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate SCOM with other management tools and systems.

We offer a competitive rate of £500 - £525 per day (inside IR35) for this role, which requires 5 days on-site in Leicester.
