Project Engineer Seal Sands
About the role
The successful candidate will manage the programme of works for the cleaning, inspection and repair of tanks, pipelines and minor projects and be responsible for all stages of development and implementation of a number of projects and/or engineering works at various locations at any one time. Oversees multi-disciplined contract engineers who conduct engineering activities on the assets
Key Responsibility
* Be a key contributor to the improvement of project management systems, procedures and workflows.
* Plan and manage the programme of works for Engineering Projects in line with company standards and relevant and UK / European legislation, ATEX, PLSG, API, EEMUA etc.
* Develop the scope of works based on 3rd party inspection reports/data.
* Develop budgets and forecasts for programme of work.
* Liaise with Operations and other stakeholders to define maintenance windows.
* Liaise with other members of the CLH-PS Asset Technical Team on standards & codes.
* Identify and select suppliers in line with relevant legislation and Company’s procedures.
* Produce detailed programme of works/Gantt charts etc.
* Working knowledge of COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations.
* Previous experience of working within MAH environments.
* Previous experience of managing multiple site works.
* Manage documentation/data/records within document management systems.
* Apply the MOC process for the life cycle of the project.
* Ensure activities completed are fully compliant with company policies, procedures and legal requirements, particularly safety and ensuring safe systems of work.
* Manage time and resources to ensure well controlled, compliant with the Working Time Regulations and meet responsibilities for health and safety.
About You
The successful candidate will have working knowledge of COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations with previous experience of working within MAH environments. Previous experience of managing multiple site works with good verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will develop and maintain positive relationships with the key stakeholders internally and externally. Project Management and Report Writing are essential in order to succeed in this role.
