Learning & Development Business Partner (maternity cover)
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the wider HR team and business managers to identify individual/team/business learning needs
2. Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers to develop an effective L&D strategy that aligns to business objectives
3. Promote relevant apprenticeship schemes and advise managers on a best practice approach
4. Work with businesses to increase engagement with the learner management system, tailoring the system to meet their needs as required
5. Regular delivery of internal leadership and early careers training programmes
6. Administrative tasks including regular reporting, training coordination and apprenticeship onboarding
7. Assist the Head of L&D with ad hoc projects
Person Specification:
8. Self-starter with drive and determination to drive new L&D practices and initiatives.
9. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels
10. Must have an interest in Learning & Development trends and emerging practices and interested in continuously developing knowledge across a wide range of areas linked to L&D
11. Experience in delivering face to face and virtual training
12. Knowledge of the various learning delivery channels and can confidently advise on the most suitable approach
13. Demonstrable experience of measuring the impact of learning interventions
14. Experience in leading projects from analysis to evaluation stage
15. Experience in using a Learner Management System would be ideal but not essential
Salary and benefits:
16. £35,000 - £40,000 depending upon experience, inclusive of benefits
