About the Role:
The Programme Manager will lead large-scale digital transformation projects and programmes with geographically dispersed, multi-cultural and multi-disciplined team members, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to completion. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in programme management.
You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and managing complex engagements.
The candidates should be eligible to obtain a security clearance to the SC level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage complex digital transformation programmes from inception to completion.
2. Develop, maintain, and update programme plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to define programme objectives, scope, and deliverables.
4. Ensure alignment of programme goals with business objectives and client expectations.
5. Monitor, track, and report on programme progress, risks, and issues.
6. Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
7. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project managers and team members.
8. Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Programme Manager or in a similar senior programme management role.
2. Strong understanding of digital transformation and IT project management.
3. Deep domain expertise and business strategy to ensure quality delivery.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
6. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
7. Programme Management Qualifications (SAFe, Prince2, etc) and preferably experience of DevOps or ITIL.

4. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
This role requires travel to varying work locations predominantly in the UK, on an as-required basis. Successful candidates must therefore be prepared to stay away from home, according to need.
