A pivotal role in the Department of Aeronautics, the Education Manager leads the undergraduate office team, ensuring high-quality, customer-focused administrative support for staff and students whilst developing and implementing strategies to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.
As Education Manager, you will provide leadership of the administrative operations for undergraduate programmes in the Department of Aeronautics. This will include planning workload and rebalancing priorities, supporting academics and teaching staff with responsibility for educational leadership and overseeing and making recommendations to improve policies and procedures. You will also manage the production of teaching timetables for the Department.
You will have overall responsibility for the management of confidential student information, maintain and where appropriate commission teaching systems, and engage with central teams to champion and contribute to change management of university information systems.
Communication and networking within and beyond the Department of Aeronautics will be a crucial part of your role as Education Manager. You will lead the production and dissemination of clear, concise and accurate information to staff and students as well as ensuring the accurate timing of communications to ensure effectiveness. You will manage the relationships between the Undergraduate Office and central university teams whilst collaborating with other education managers and relevant Faculty teams to ensure the sharing of best-practice.
