We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team. You will be working in our workshop, roadside, or on customers' sites – working well in a team is a must.
Hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependent on experience.
Main Role Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of all trucks and trailers – our own fleet and customers' trucks and trailers.
* Diagnosing vehicle defects.
* Comprehensive completion of all documentation including worksheets.
* Vehicle breakdown and roadside repairs as necessary.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
Role Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of trucks and trailers and able to fault find and repair.
* Able to work under own initiative and solve all problem aspects is an advantage.
* Fault finding and use of diagnostic equipment.
* Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to both new and used trucks & trailers.
* MOT preparation on own vehicles.
* Full Driving License is required. Not essential but ideally you will have a Class 2 driving license.
* Proven experience as a mechanic or qualifications.
* Attending to defects from drivers.
* 5 days a week (alternate weekends required) - required to work on call through the evenings on a rota basis.
You will be issued with a fully kitted vehicle (just add tools), given training if necessary, pension, and uniform.

Pay: From £32,500.00 per year
