We're looking for a proactive Billing Coordinator to join our finance department, working on a hybrid basis from our Bristol office. In this role, you will provide team support to lead and coach our Billing Assistants, ensuring a seamless billing experience by linking the central finance team with our legal teams. What you'll be doing:
* Oversee billing and charge rates, ensuring compliance with client and legislative standards.
* Train new starters and implement new processes.
* Address billing and charge rate issues.
* Review and process bills and credit notes.
* Ensure bills meet legislative regulations and firm policies.
* WIP & Disbursements: Handle write-offs, transfers, and adjustments.
* Support complex billing needs and attend legal team meetings.
* Coordinate monthly billing for complex clients.
* Manage Ebilling clients and resolve errors.
* Provide regular and ad-hoc reports.
