What you will do
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Industry Retail Contracts and Warranty Claim Handling Manager. You will control and manage the systems in line with Renault Trucks UK Ltd warranty and contract policies and agreements through the management of the central administration team based in Dunstable. You will have experience of managing a team; dealing with warranty variances and disputes, retails claims and working with our network of depots and their managers to ensure a smooth and timely end of month process. Motivating and performance managing will be a stand out quality in your experience of team management.
We will pay to £50,000 basic with an excellent benefits package on offer
In Particular:
1. To ensure preparation and submission of all Warranty / Contract Maintenance claims is in line with RTUK processes.
2. To contribute towards the continuous development of warranty and contract systems, enabling prompt submission of claims, at the same time as providing accurate quality information for tracking purposes.
3. To advise Depot Managers of any claim rejection so that appropriate action can be taken.
4. To liaise with Technical Services, Quality and Warranty functions with the Market Company.
5. Assess all claims received outside of the normal warranty period with Technical support to ascertain if a valid “Technical Goodwill” claim can be made.
6. To maintain consistent level of invoicing within the team.
7. Management of the team, including setting, monitoring and evaluating team member targets

8. Ability to demonstrate strong commercial vehicle industry awareness and understanding of the final implications of decisions taken.
9. Previous line management experience with the ability to motivate employees.
10. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and constantly changing priorities.
11. Proven analytical and reporting skills
12. Strong communication skills with the ability to gain credibility on all levels.
13. Process management
Along with:
14. Comprehensive experience in vehicle industry service, warranty and contract roles.
15. Full working knowledge of warranty and contract systems.
16. Management or Supervisory experience
17. Fully proficient in Microsoft office applications.
18. Understanding of DMS or similar business operating system.
19. A high level of numeracy.
20. An understanding of basic finance and financial analysis concepts.
21. Full UK Driving Licence
