Health and Safety Inspector
Overview:
Our Health and Safety Inspector will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance across our Compco premises and sites.

With exceptional attention to detail, you, as a Health and Safety Inspector, will act as a central function of the SHEQ team at Compco Fire Systems. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Carrying out regular inspections on construction sites.
2. Monitoring Sprinkler installation process from start to finish.
3. Testing/reporting on quality of work.
4. Ensuring measurements and material usage follow initial plans.
5. Liaising closely with SHE Manager and construction project managers.
6. Checking for any defects/H&S breaches.
7. Providing reports of inspections and suggesting improvements.
8. Making sure installations codes and safety issues are adhered to.
9. Marking up drawings detailing site changes.
What You’ll Need:
1. Proven Experience in a Health and Safety Inspector Role or Similar.
2. Understanding of Sprinkler installation codes and safety issues is preferred, although full training will be given.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction industry.
4. A Qualification in Health and Safety would be advantageous.
5. Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
6. Exceptional Attention to Detail.
7. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
8. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment.
9. Valid CSCS card.
10. Full UK driving license.
This role would require the successful Health and Safety Inspector to be within commutable distance to our Worcester Office: Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX OR Oldbury Office: Units 1C-1D Pearsall Drive, Oldbury, B69 2RA.
