A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join an Aerospace Component Manufacturing Company in the Cheltenham area.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems according to established procedures and specifications.
* Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality.
* Perform visual inspections to identify defects, irregularities, or deviations from quality standards.
* Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of quality initiatives.
* Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality inspection in the aerospace sector.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace industry.
* Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and specifications.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in inspections.
* Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
* Experience using measurement tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Certification in quality inspection or related field is desirable.
* Willingness to undergo additional training and certification as required.
