As an Adult Care Trainer you will pass on your knowledge to the next generation of care professionals and working weekends and evenings will be a thing of the past. Role : Adult Care Trainer Experience Required: No prior teaching/training experience is needed, our client will provide you with all the tools and support needed to become a qualified trainer What you could be doing now: You may be working as a Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Senior Carer. Location : Hybrid with a mixture of remote working and travel around the Northeast visiting learners (all mileage paid for) Salary : Starting salary of up to £28,000 The Role As an Adult Care Trainer, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and get to hit the road and visit different sites within your region to meet your learners face-to-face in their care homes. A typical week will involve 2-3 days travelling to see your apprentices. The rest of the week, you’ll be working from home, meeting apprentices online and completing administration. What You'll Do: Work with adult care apprentices in their care homes and online. Use your industry knowledge to train the next generation of care. Meet new apprentices and discuss their learning needs. Support your apprentices with their functional skills, explaining how English and maths are important in their role. Visit employers and provide feedback on their apprentices’ skills. Develop relationships with employers in your area. Complete administrative and planning tasks, using Google Suite and internal platforms and systems. About You We’re looking for passionate care professionals, looking to share their knowledge and make a meaningful impact on the industry. To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following: Demonstrable experience at Care Manager, Registered Manager, Deputy Care Manager level A Level 3 qualification in Adult Care (or similar) A good grasp of technology and administrative skills. Have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths. A valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
