About the Role
Maintain technical capability across the EU region for core packaging platforms, through coaching, complex issue resolution and continuous improvement of capability (packaging CQAs and OEE). This will ensure our packaged products and devices are delivered to the highest standards of quality, sustainability and robustness, consistently and on time across different internal and external sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proficient in diverse technical packaging platforms (blister, bottles, sachets, tubes, spray devices).
2. Work with EU sites/CMO network and global procurement to identify, prioritize and execute projects to improve packaging sustainability, efficiency and customer experience.
3. Lead the EU packaging strategy execution to meet sustainability targets.
4. Lead the EU packaging community, coaching and mentoring on packaging and sustainability topics.
5. Work with global category, on complex maintenance projects and act as the lead for EU on global initiatives impacting across sites and CMO (e.g. packaging reporting, CRSF).
6. Provide technical leadership and input into Root Cause analysis to support complex investigations and resolution of packaging complaints and product deviations, in conjunction with QA.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Expected 10+ years experience broad ranging packaging expertise.
2. Experience in data analysis, trending and statistical tools.
3. Experience in technical due diligence, supplier and equipment assessment.
4. Demonstrated ability for coaching and capability building.
5. Strong knowledge of sustainability regulations and guidelines for packaging.
6. Expert in product/pack and pack/machine interface to drive OEE improvements.
