Key Responsibilities
1. Client and team interaction
2. Adherence to Group policies
3. Lead and deliver projects: plan for, monitor progress against and meet deadlines with consideration to project scope, evolving client requirements, and requests for additional work
4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst achieving project deliverables within budget, timeline, and to the quality expected
5. Link client stakeholder needs with technical delivery of project and where appropriate translate technical delivery into client language
6. Efficiently and effectively coordinate and manage others in the project team to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of client projects whilst undertaking all relevant administrative tasks e.g. work orders and time recording
7. Lead delivery meetings with multiple stakeholders
8. Facilitate project workshops and conferences
9. Support key account management and new business sales
10. Lead/support development of new proposals/projects
11. Recognise and understand commercial drivers of the client and how these may impact the business, developing long-term relationships and repeat business with key clients
12. Present project work at internal/external meetings as appropriate
13. Build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
14. Maintain client confidentiality
15. Assist in implementing diligent project management practices to ensure projects are delivered to time, budget, and the quality expected
16. Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, working with either Upstream Operators (IOC, NOC, PE-owned) or Service Companies/Technology Providers.
17. Prior consulting experience: engineering consulting or technology innovation consulting experience preferred
18. Knowledge on decarbonisation of the Oil & Gas value chain or fields (reservoir, drilling and completions, production, plug and abandonment, and decommissioning)
19. Ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner to both effectively communicate with the recipient, whether a client or colleague, and create buy-in to ideas and approach.
20. Experience of managing projects or work packages to tight timescales and budgets
21. Ability to efficiently deal with multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure
22. Flexible and adaptable approach to work
23. Strong interpersonal skills
24. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
25. Ability to demonstrate good project coordination and attention to detail
