An exceptional and high performing Associate Architect is required to join the Leeds studio of a multiple award winning AJ100 Architectural Practice and become an integral part of their leadership team.\n\nYou will be joining an award-winning, sustainable practice with design innovation, technical excellence and sustainability at the heart of everything they do. \n\nIn this pivotal role, the Associate Architect will wield significant influence, contributing to the success of their complex large scale projects and be an inspirational team leader. \n\nOur clients ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for delivering high-quality and sustainable designs, backed by a track record of successful implementations.
You will be a proficient communicator, skilled in engaging clients effectively and fostering strong professional relationships.\n\nDesign experience of the Associate Architect\n\nMinimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in the design and successful delivery of large, complex construction projects within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.\n\nDemonstrate high-quality design skills, supported by a deep technical understanding, showcasing innovation and a passion for advancing the team's skills, knowledge, and expertise.\n\nProven track record of consistently delivering exceptional design outcomes and technical outputs in accordance with industry best practices.\n\nExposure to project work in the following sectors - Commercial, Indsutrial & Manufacturing, Off-site Modular, Leisure and the living sectors.\n\nVery good Revit skills, and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Level 2.\n\nCreative Collaboration\n\nDisplay a mentorship-oriented approach, providing guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their growth and professional development.\n\nExceptional client-facing skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, capable of presenting ideas and principles in a relaxed and confident manner.\n\nExhibit a supportive and collaborative attitude when engaging with clients and consultants, encouraging open communication and shared insights.\n\nShow enthusiasm for contributing to the team's growth within the business and actively shaping the team's development and achievements in the sector.\n\nKey Attributes for the Associate Architect\n\nResponsible for delivering consistently high standards of design and technical output, ensuring projects are executed with precision and excellence.\n\nStay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry changes, continuously seeking knowledge and expertise to maintain a competitive edge.\n\nSeek advice from internal or external sources when necessary to ensure projects receive appropriate specialist inputs.\n\nTake personal responsibility for professional development, engaging in activities to meet RIBA CPD requirements, and encourage the team to pursue their own learning and growth.\n\nImplement best practices and innovative design strategies, encouraging the team to explore and incorporate cutting-edge approaches.\n\nStrong leadership skills, leading by example and inspiring the team to excel.\n\nHighly driven individual with a strong desire to actively contribute to shaping the business's strategic direction and the growth of the Leisure team.\n\nPackage for the Associate Architect\n\nSalary - £55,000-£60,000 depending on suitability and experience\nAgile Hybrid Working: Flexibility to work from home two days a week.\nHealth Insurance scheme.\nDeath in Service.\nCycle to Work Scheme.\nElectric Car Scheme:\nGenerous Annual Leave Policy: 25 days of leave plus bank holidays.\nMembership Body Payments.Please hit apply and provide an updated CV, if you would like further information please contact James Jackson at Conrad Consulting
