Purpose of the Role
The Technical Service Manager position is responsible for a team of field engineers and service coordinators to ensure efficient and effective delivery of PPMs, repairs, and urgent works to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of field service engineers and service coordinators, overseeing team performance and employee administration.
2. Oversee the planning and scheduling of service calls and preventive maintenance visits.
3. Ensure timely and efficient response to client service requests.
4. Manage any escalations from the service coordinators, resolving complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
5. Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
6. Provide technical support as required.
7. Attend site visits and carry out site audits as required.
8. Identify opportunities to improve service profitability.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Desired Skillset and Characteristics:
1. Strong technical knowledge and experience of air conditioning systems and equipment, such as water chillers, VRV/VRF, etc.
2. Proven experience managing a team.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong organizational skills.
6. Degree or management experience in air conditioning systems, including chilled water systems.
7. Field experience.
8. Must hold a full UK driving license.
9. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
10. Must live within easy reach of the offices in Shepperton, Surrey. The role is based in Shepperton.
