Content Writer
Central Edinburgh based office-based role with flexibility for hybrid working
Full Time role Monday to Friday
Fixed-Term Contract role for 6 months with strong potential to be extended or made permanent
Salary up to £40,000 + benefits (pro-rata)
Search Consultancy are currently working with this Edinburgh-based client in the Professional Services arena to recruit this role. The role will initially be offered on a 6 month Fixed-Term basis with strong potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.
Duties involved in this role will include:
1. Auditing of all existing website & copy content
2. Working closely with SMEs across the firm to rewrite content where required
3. Assessing & rewriting biographies for Senior staff across the firm
4. Ensuring that all content across the firm is in line with the firm's tone, values, is engaging, stands out against competitors & resonates with potential clients
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
1. Extensive previous experience in copywriting - this experience is ESSENTIAL (candidates with this experience within a Legal or Professional Services firm would be at a distinct advantage in this process)
2. Candidates with a relevant degree in the field would be preferred, although this is not essential
3. A strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
4. Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to produce grammatically flawless and polished content (preferably with a portfolio of content to share)
5. Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal - with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
