Temporary KS3/4 Teacher of Humanities- Warrington
We are supporting secondary schools across Warrington who are recruiting for a temporary humanities teacher for day to day, short term and long term cover.
The successful teacher will be asked to teach Geography, History and Religious Education to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. Experience of teaching required subjects are preferred and you must have strong knowledge of safeguarding policies within the educational sector.
This role could suit newly qualified teachers, qualified teachers or experienced teachers who are expected to commit to full time employment, foll lowing school ethos and participate in general running of the school including general duties.

9. Hours – 8:15 am – 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
10. Degree educated with a good classification, (desirable to be in a humanities based subject)
11. Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT,, QTS, etc) in Geography, History or RE
12. Previous experience teaching History to young people (which we can reference)
13. Experience of teaching in a UK Secondary School (which we can reference)
14. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
15. Up to date prevent awareness training that is issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
16. Hold Right to Work in the UK
17. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the update service or be willing to process a new application
18. Provide at least two professional child related references to cover the last two years
