Our colourful, tastetastic Loughborough office currently has a vacancy for an eCommerce Operations Assistant. The role will join our clever, definitely not sickly sweet eCom team on a full time basis. Our Head Office roles come with hybrid working allowing you the ability to work 3 days in the office and up to 2 days at home. Although mainly based at Loughborough, you will be required to travel (1 day a week) to our Sutton in Ashfield and Worksop sites (on an alternating weekly basis), so please ensure you are able to do this if you apply.
What does our eCommerce Operations Assistant do?
This varied role will see you carrying out a number of duties including:
1. Being the first point of contact for our Customer Service and Logistics teams if issues arise
2. Working with the internal teams to provide support on day-to-day operational issues
3. Having advanced knowledge on our eCommerce platform, systems and tools
4. Running daily checks and balances between systems identifying and resolving any issues or escalating if required
5. Identifying, collecting and recognising operational inefficiencies with our internal teams
6. Being able to spot any potential issues and raise with the relevant management teams ensuring root cause analysis is completed in a timely manner
7. Supporting the eCommerce Director in generation of KPI reports and being able to report and act on issues reported
8. Supporting with User Acceptance testing of new features and functionality
9. Checking and reporting on conformance to operating procedures but able to share ideas with internal teams to evolve process with clear documentation on change
10. Supporting the Digital Trading Manager to report and flag any issues around stock availability
Who is the right person for this eCommerce Operations Assistant role?
The right person will have as many of the following skills and attributes as possible:
1. Previous experience of working within eCommerce dealing/resolving customer queries
2. The ability to build excellent working relationships
3. Be a team player
4. Competency when it comes to IT skills including the use of Excel to an intermediate level
5. Be able to keep calm and focused under pressure
