Workforce Data Specialist, Supporting France (Egypt Based)
Introduction to role
Join our dynamic HR Services Team at the Regional Human Resources Centre! We are seeking a customer service-oriented specialist to support our regional HR professionals and customers in core workforce administration. Utilizing our advanced HR technology suite, including Workday and ServiceNow case management, you will tackle a variety of activities, directly engaging with customers and HR professionals to resolve complex issues. Collaborate with global HR and IT stakeholders to enhance our processes and technology, driving improvements in our HR operations and customer interactions.
Accountabilities
1. Manage employee personal data, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
2. Create employee contracts and process new hires.
3. Administer changes to organization units in Workday.
4. Support position management within Workday, including creating, editing, and ending appointments.
5. Handle job change processes in Workday, including promotions, demotions, and transfers.
6. Coordinate with in-country HR for affiliate transfers, managing contract documentation and payroll activities.
7. Verify employment details for third parties upon request.
8. Assist managers with probation period administration and manage transactions for new hire no-shows.
9. Utilize the HR knowledge base to ensure accurate process execution and effective customer guidance.
10. Perform data quality checks in Workday, addressing errors and data gaps.
11. Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements, working with Global Process Owners.
12. Document Workforce Administration (WFA) processes, focusing on country-specific variations.
Essential Skills/Experience
1. Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
2. Understanding of common service center enabling technologies – e.g. case management, telephony, and online user portals.
3. Fluency in French & English.
4. Ability to manage competing tasks efficiently and prioritize workload within a matrixed team environment.
5. Enjoy working as part of a lively and hard-working team, performing together under pressure to meet monthly payroll deadlines.
6. Experience in Microsoft applications.
7. Highly developed communications, organization, and interpersonal skills.
8. Proven ability to work with confidential data.
9. Experience of delivering against Service Level agreements, including working with third-party providers to meet work deadlines.
10. Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions.
Desirable Skills/Experience
1. Workday system knowledge would be an asset.
2. Experience supporting HR processes and transactions would be an asset.
3. Previous admin support to France.
