Your role within our Smart Infrastructure GB Procurement team will include: Dissecting what sustainability means to Siemens, how sustainable practices impact on other business functions, and supporting as required. Engaging closely with a diverse range of supply chain organisations to deliver tangible improvements to sustainability performance. Driving progress on sustainability objectives and communicating these to colleagues in a manner that is easily digestible. Driving towards climate commitments such as carbon neutrality within the Siemens supply chain by 2050. What do I need to apply? Currently pursuing a degree in an environmental/sustainability-related discipline. Knowledge of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is preferable but not essential. Possess a logical mindset, a thirst for self-learning and research, and a knack for out-of-the-box problem-solving. Excel at working independently, taking ownership of challenges, and have the potential to drive and lead change.
