An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and conscientious Remedial Engineer to join a growing team in Halesowen, West Midlands. Due to an increasing workload, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about Legionella remediation and plumbing. Remedial Engineer Responsibilities
As a Remedial Engineer, your primary duties will include:
* Working closely with customers to carry out a range of remediation and plumbing tasks.
* Addressing Legionella-related remedial work based on internal and external reports.
* Installing new hot water cylinders in compliance with G3 regulations.
* Identifying upselling opportunities through risk assessment reports, such as Legionella Management Plans, Monthly Monitoring Programmes, and additional services.
* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and procedural regulations.
* Assisting in the training and development of junior team members.
* Participating in quality control processes to maintain industry standards.
* Completing and signing off all necessary paperwork to meet legislative, licensable, and financial requirements.
Remedial Engineer Qualifications and Skills
To be successful as a Remedial Engineer, you will need to demonstrate:
* A full, valid driving license.
* At least 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C or above).
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing or Legionella work.
* Relevant plumbing qualifications, including G3 Vented & Unvented, and Water Regulations.
* Strong computer skills and experience producing reports that meet current regulations.
* A good understanding of health and safety related to Legionella.
* A positive attitude, ambition, and excellent customer service skills.
