Electrical Project Manager
Salary: 50k, vehicle, fuel card, salary progression
We seek someone who is an expert in commercial electrical installations who can pro-actively estimate, lead and manage complex installation and refurbishment projects across the UK.
Your day-to-day role will include:
1. Working as part of a close-knit multi-disciplined team managing projects from design to installation.
2. Conducting site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility, identify potential challenges, and propose effective solutions.
3. Undertaking all aspects of project planning, programming, and coordination.
4. Materials management and ordering.
5. Estimating and budget management in line with equipment, materials, and labour procurement.
6. Coordinating and collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
7. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
8. Leading, attending, and progressing meetings.
9. Overseeing CDM, quality, and H&S requirements including the preparation of RAMS.
10. Reviewing and analyzing project specifications, drawings, and CAD 2D designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
You will be:
1. An apprentice trained electrician.
2. Holding 18th Edition, 2391, AM2 & ECS (CSCS) card.
3. Experienced in managing and coordinating staff to meet project deadlines.
4. Possessing excellent technical knowledge of the latest technologies and changes in the industry.
5. Able to communicate at all levels and comfortable talking directly with clients and stakeholders.
6. A great problem solver.
7. Holding a CSCS card, SSSTS, SMSTS (or willing to work toward it).
8. Having a full, ideally clean driving license.
9. Note: A full security check will be required.
