Main duties of the job
Your morning starts with a quick huddle with the team to discuss medication guidelines, formulary changes, and special tasks. You'll manage stock levels, coordinate orders, and ensure everything runs smoothly, acting as the go-to person for stock questions.
As the day unfolds, you'll mentor pharmacy technicians, pre-registration trainees, and pharmacy assistants, ensuring everyone follows the right procedures. You'll also work closely with the Principal Technician to identify areas for improvement.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of technicians.

Person specification
Qualifications
* BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC
* Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
Experience
* Post qualification hospital experience
* Experience in supervision of staff
* Patient counselling
Skills & Abilities
* Ability to organise own workload and that of others
* Computer literate for dispensing and stock keeping
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work
