Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the national curriculum
* Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and cooperation
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular activities
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in science education and incorporate them into lesson planning
* Participate in parents’ evenings and meetings to discuss student progress and provide support and guidance
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Science
* Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse student needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for educating and inspiring students in the field of science
* Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
