Export Sales Manager – FMCG / Pet Products
Our client is a leading FMCG SME with a vibrant proactive culture, strong leadership and a real ambitious, straight forward can do attitude. This is a great opportunity for a talented and experienced export/international professional with very high potential for future leadership.
The role requires skills in managing existing customers and in winning new business particularly across Europe.
A snapshot of the role
· Management and ownership of specified territory P&L’s ( Europe)
· Developing long term customer partnerships with Joint Business Plans
· Own, build and drive contact strategies to build strong networks
· Negotiate customer terms
· Implement strategic plans and sector specific initiatives
· Working with the wider international team and commercial teams
· Working collaboratively and professionally with the wider business
· Being an active contributor to the overall business growth and the teams performance
The person
· Experienced working in international markets with FMCG products
· A strong level of business development and account management experience
· Has a good strategic mindset
· Is able to forecast business
· Prepared to travel worldwide for meetings when required
· Is a self-starter, a team player and happy to get stuck in
· Can build strong relationships internally and externally
· P&L experience
· Has the potential and ambition to lead and manage
