Job summary An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for the role of Head of Quality Intelligence at North East North Cumbria Integrated Care Board. You will support the ICB in their statutory functions of ensuring continuous improvements in commissioned services, by developing and maintaining oversight and analysis of key quality and safety themes and trends across the region. Main duties of the job Working with the Director of Quality/ Directors of Nursing develop a robust evolving quality framework incorporating the 4 key elements of quality to deliver improvements in outcomes for the people of NENC. Support and contribute to the development of the safety management system across the region particularly in relation to: - o Safety risk management - the identification of concerns, issues and risks, and the assessment and mitigation of risks across the system. o Safety assurance - monitoring, measuring and oversight of safety performance, continuous improvement.
