An exciting opportunity to join a real estate private equity manager with an outstanding track record, managing more than €3.5bn AUM following 100+ investments that comprise c.200 buildings. They have c.€600m equity raised as dry powder for investment with a large institutional investor and is looking to capitalise on current market conditions.
This senior analyst role iso to focus mainly on corporate finance / portfolio disposals, overall fund performance / IRR analysis, financial projections, and improving data flow in the business. The individual would also work on marketing aspects of their next equity raise which will likely kick off this year (could be next). Looking for someone with excellent technical capabilities
The Senior analyst role is within the Finance and Operations team and requires an
entrepreneurial, hard-working and growth mindset.
Role:
Very varied role primarily working on Pan-European Data Analysis & Capital Markets, e.g.
· Leading key workstreams on portfolio exits, including vendor due diligence,
marketing materials, structuring and returns
· Portfolio level returns analysis and fund business plan preparation
· Monitoring investment performance vs. underwriting and suggesting improvements
· Analysis of new deals gross to net returns (net of fees, taxes, promotes etc)
· Consolidated Fund Model Return Forecasting (i.e. consolidating individual
investment business plans into a fund model)
· Working with asset management to improve asset level returns
· Working with their Data Research Team to automate finance and asset
level data
· Assist on new fundraising including preparing investor materials, term sheet or JV
docs review
· Assist on new financing origination workstreams
· Ad-hoc finance, planning and analysis workstreams, for example, working on internal budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
· 1-3 years of work experience in an analytical / excel-based role
· Technically advanced excel modelling skills – building, improving and running cases
within excel models (essential)
· Real estate finance background (required)
· Native French / Dutch / German / Italian speaker with fluent English (preferred)
· Microsoft office skills (excel, powerpoint etc.)
· Private equity, debt origination or investment banking experience (preferred)
· Hard-working with an ability to work in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment
· Full-time role available immediately based in London
