Responsibilities as Project Engineer will include: Applying your pragmatic and best practice Project/Systems Engineering techniques to support our projects and business development activities. Acting as a project integrator, product manager and interface between project management and other engineering teams. Promoting the implementation of Systems Engineering across the Engineering function. Developing an in-depth knowledge of the standards and specification appropriate to the discipline of Systems Engineering. Becoming familiar within and assisting in the continuous improvement of the Business Management System (BMS) procedures. Working effectively across the matrix and delivering bottom-line performance collaboratively. Challenging the status quo, bringing new ideas to improve engineering quality, productivity and timeliness of delivery. Setting and enforcing standards, ensuring rigour, resilience and continuous improvement in design solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality and certification requirements within schedule and budget. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with energy and enthusiasm to all levels. The ability to apply your skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects. Market awareness with a good understanding of the market in which Marshall operates, including competitors, suppliers, customers and regulatory organisations. Experienced in planning and delivering large and complex tasks to schedule and budget demonstrating effective time management across many projects and priorities. Broad understanding of manufacturing techniques including, sheet metal fabrication, riveting, bonding and welding. Sound understanding of product safety.
