*This is a shift-based role operating on lates, earlies and nights, Monday to Friday (BAN6 pattern).

The overall purpose of the Senior Microbiological Technologist role is to provide in depth technical expertise and direct support to the Process Monitoring Team Manager for the provision of the team resource scheduling, leading investigations, project and audit support, coaching, mentoring and training team members.
In this role you will…
* Be responsible for scheduling work within the team and prioritising workload
* Manage and document investigations within their area of specialism with minimum input from TM. Demonstrate use of problem-solving tools. Ensure appropriate CAPA is in place.
* Represent Process Monitoring at business unit meetings and support production issue resolution.
* Create documentation, procedures, protocols and reports to agreed targets.
* Plan, Progress and Approve batches within agreed cycle times.
* Liaise efficiently and effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics and Project Teams as required.
* Support audit readiness and front areas of technical expertise in internal/external audits.

* Track record of coaching and mentoring others in technical areas.
* Knowledge of production microbiological controls
* Experience in environmental monitoring
* Track record of completing deviation and other investigations.
* Quality report writing.
* Planning capability.
