The Gynaecology Matron is an integral member of the Women's Senior leadership team who is responsible for the day to day operational and professional management of the Gynaecology service, always demonstrating the Trusts values whilst implementing the Trusts Nursing and Midwifery Strategy alongside Local, Regional and National drivers for improvement.
The Matron's role is fundamental to supporting the Women's senior leadership team in transforming the maternity services and leading quality improvement and assurance processes which underpin the provision of safe, effective, maternity care.
