Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client. This role will oversee and manage a range of civil engineering projects, primarily within residential and commercial sectors, ensuring their successful delivery from start to finish. As the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in upholding their reputation for quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards. Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and execution to ensure compliance with legal, client, and company requirements. Monitor project budgets, control costs, and forecast expenditure, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets. Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project delivery. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and without compromising quality or safety. Provide direction, support, and guidance to site teams and other relevant personnel. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience in contracts management within civil engineering, particularly on residential or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of contract forms, legal standards, and health & safety regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders. Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for construction projects. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop project teams to achieve high performance and project success.
