About the position: This position is located at the Galaxy Club, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Coordinates and assists with base-wide events that involve the Club Complex. Is required to serve as project officer for events.
* Scheduled shifts may include days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
* This position has a guaranteed 20 hours and includes benefits.

The area of consideration for this vacancy announcement:
* Citizens, permanent residents, and legal residents of the United States (US) who reside within the local commuting area (60-mile radius) of RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom (UK), or will do so within the next 30 days.
* Permanent and legal residents of the US must be citizens of a NATO country, unless authorized to reside in the UK as a dependent of an employee who serves in support of the US Visiting Forces.
* Eligible applicants must possess a US-issued social security number and be able to provide documentation proving residency status in the UK.
* Applicants cannot be 'ordinarily resident'. A person is considered to be 'ordinarily resident' if they have resided in the United Kingdom (UK) for more than 366 days without an affiliation to the US Visiting Forces.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below:
* Knowledge of the range of activities and services, of participation interests and needs, and of the methods and processes involved in typical and conventional club programming, which knowledge enables the employee to plan and conduct a variety of basic and some enhanced activities and services of a military club.
* Ability to communicate, organize, and oversee programs to conclusion.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Preferred: At least 6 months of club event program planning or commercial event planning experience.
* Must be able to satisfactorily complete a T1 background investigation.
