A fantastic school in earley are looking to welcome a Mental Health Support Worker to their community. The school want someone who can provide quality support to their students. The students attending the school have Complex Learning Disabilities as well as significant Mental, Social and Emotional Needs, meaning they would benefit from having a Mental Health Support Worker to work on both 1-1 basis with them throughout the school day. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children who display challenging behaviour and have mental health difficulties. The role will give the candidate an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how to communicate, regulate and advocate for children in the SEN community.
The school are looking for a dedicated, confident and pro-active candidate to take on the role of Mental Health Support Worker and bring enthusiasm and empathy into the classroom. Ideally, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, an interest in children's development and experience with children in either a professional or home environment. The Mental Health Support Worker will have the opportunity to work alongside qualified therapists, behaviour consultants and psychologists which could kick-start their entrance into the industry.
