An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their dynamic and successful department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The specific subject combination will likely include History and Geography, but could potentially involve other Humanities subjects depending on expertise.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across multiple Humanities subjects.
2. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning about the human world.
3. Develop students' understanding of key concepts and foster research and analysis skills.
4. Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Humanities Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies).
2. Proven experience teaching at least two Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
3. A passion for the humanities, excellent communication skills, and strong classroom management.
4. Adaptability as a Humanities Teacher.
