Position: Member Services Manager
As a Member Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Member Services Team to ensure that a responsive, efficient, accurate and innovative, customer-focused service is provided. You will also support the team in developing their understanding of the rules of the pension schemes they administer and wider pension-related legislation and guidance.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing advice and expertise for all non-standard member queries that require escalation to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
2. Ensuring that the service targets outlined in the Funds Administration Strategy are met.
3. Being part of the management team to ensure the service is developed to meet changing legislative requirements.
4. Providing support to Fund projects.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need a large amount of experience in the pensions industry and preferably LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme) specific knowledge. You will have sound organisational and forward planning skills to lead and motivate the team in achieving its service standards. Ideally, you will also already have line management experience, but we will consider candidates who are interested in taking the step up.
