Have you got experience in adhering to the current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, health and safety regulations? We are recruiting two electricians to join us on a full time, permanent basis, to Carry out all aspects of electrical works in customers’ homes and empty properties. In this role, you will: · Repair/replace electrical fittings and diagnose electrical faults. · Carry our repairs in bathrooms, reconnecting pipework to showers, whale pumps, and valves & remove and refit wall tiles. · Remove and re-fix existing skirting boards, bath panels and timber framework / install vinyl floor coverings to include carpets and rugs. · Deliver an excellent customer experience by understanding the different needs of our customers. · Report any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers’ homes. · Carry out safety checks of tools, plant and equipment - ensuring they are well looked after and returned in a timely manner, so they are available to others. The ideal candidate shall: · Be capable of certifying electrical works · Have experience with testing and inspection of domestic dwellings · Be confident working with IT systems (email, word and excel) · Hold a City and Guilds Parts 1, 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation works · Hold City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 and 2395 · Have a current BS:7671 qualification (18th Edition Regulations) · Hold a Full / automatic valid UK driving licence Everyone’s welcome here. The team Our Homes Team make sure customers' homes are well maintained by carrying out repairs, maintenance, and gas servicing They are very important people In the team, there are multi-trades people, electricians, ground workers, roofers, gas engineers, plumbers, and joiners, plus general labourers and apprentices. There is also a team of planners and administrative colleagues who keep the show on the road by booking in all the work and making sure our trades colleagues have everything they need to get the job done.
