Job title: ASSISTANT BUSINESS MANAGER
Responsible to: Sales and Education Executive and Business manger
Main Purpose: To support your Business manger and business to achieve business objectives as established by the Frederic Malle Brand through the effective management and motivation of the Frederic Malle Team.
Key Responsibilities and Standards
Maximise Sales performance and Productivity
1. Support BM in the Management of Team and Account to achieve all targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
2. Monitor and analyse Frederic Malle ambassadors using all Brand tools to recognise areas of opportunity and growth
3. Be Productivity aware and able to review precisely all opportunities with Sales using Education Executive – with a particular emphasis with On Counter Technology or agreed customer capture system
4. Achieve Team customer capture rate as per Frederic Malle Brand target;
5. Monitor Competitor activity and be able to interpret Frederic Malle opportunities to counteract competitor results and maintain or grow Frederic Malle Brand market share and ranking
6. Support management to ensure that all key lines are well stocked by conducting stock tasks as per store needs.
7. Merchandising awareness to meet all By Kilian Brand expectations – to include strong housekeeping standards
8. Implementation/creation of strong activity/event plan to support Marketing Launches or seasonal demands With accurate time in advance planning
9. Meets all administration deadlines set by BM and ensures that all administration is accurately completed
10. Meets expectations for coaching and completes all administration deadlines to support with feedback
Team Supervisors Management
11. Ensure all Team members meet the correct Frederic Malle Brand service standards at all times
12. Monitor and coach Frederic Malle Brand service
13. Monitor and coach On Counter Technology (client capture)– with a particular emphasis on capture rate and enhancements which tie into customer service
14. Ensure all Frederic Malle Brand specialists wear a Clean, fresh look and wears Frederic Malle fragrance at all times
15. Encourages strong and clear communication within the Team and operates a lead by example style – with a particular emphasis on communication, flexibility, timekeeping and attendance
16. Ensures all team members attend training meetings as required in a well planned manner and also follows up in-store afterwards with workplace and Frederic Malle tools to ensure team members are meeting training requirements
17. To support your BM to Holds weekly/monthly team update meetings that are well structured and planned to include updates on achievement to targets, events activity, customer capture, Frederic Malle Brand service standards and housekeeping needs. Stock will also be discussed as will any rota updates or change to either the Brands needs or the store expectations.
18. Communicates well with Sales and Education Executive keeping them well informed of all important matters and team performance issues and can clearly communicate these to agree a follow up/support plan
19. Liaises well with in BM and SEE management to understand their requirements
20. Communicates all Brand information through to all team members as directed by business manager and SEE.
General
21. All Frederic Malle Brand Assistant managers will need to be able to carry out any other duties as required to support the Sales and Education Executive and/or Frederic Malle Brand from time to time.
Qualifications
22. Proven retail experience
23. The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
24. Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
25. Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
26. Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
27. Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
28. Proficient in Microsoft Office
