To support the design and maintenance of the Whitbread organisation through the development and governance of Whitbread’s organisation design principles, providing expert support and guidance on organisation design activity and supporting the execution of organisation design change. Customer Groups would be: Support Centre (Head Office) and Operations leaders, UK People Director and Support Centre Head of People, Germany Head of People. You will define and deliver regular reporting of organisation size/shape to key stakeholders across operations and support centre. Provide analysis of structures and size/cost of teams across operations and support centre. Define and deliver a reporting pack to feed into key governance forums on a regular basis that shows the level of compliance with the agreed organisation design (e.g. cluster compositions, regional maps, support centre headcount and grades). Manage Whitbread’s job description process including templates and central maintenance. Creation of new organisation design templates and tools with a blueprint process map to support future organisation design activity in all Whitbread markets. Review proposals vs. agreed design principles and identify areas that are not aligned to agreed principles. Challenge stakeholders and propose options and solutions that enable effective and consistent structures. Work collaboratively with people partners, managers and reward manager(s) on job grading and compensation implications from proposed changes, ensuring cost implications are clearly understood. Lead the change process for organisation design activity, including RACI/RAPID templates, handing over to People Partners / Change Partners to deliver into the impacted area. Skills (Expert Understanding) Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at various levels. Strong verbal and written communication. Advanced Excel / analysis / numeracy Presentation skills – strong in PowerPoint / visualisation of data Excellent organisation and planning. Effective problem and conflict resolution skills. Provision and interpretation of analysis and Insight – providing clear recommendations backed up by credible data sources.
