We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a real passion for Early Years education and for developing young minds.
You must hold a Level 3 Ofqual approved UK based qualification and have demonstrable experience of working with children under the age of 5 to be considered for this role.
We are based at Woodlands Day Nursery at Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley, Surrey, and our nursery provides the highest quality care and education to children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Our children and families are fully supported by experienced Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Assistants, and we deliver excellence in our practices within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities:
* Using knowledge and understanding of child development theories, progressive learning, and best working practices, contribute to and deliver individualised care and learning to children under five years within statutory and guiding principles described in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2024.
* Be responsible for key children’s observations, planning, and assessments to create children’s learning journeys.
* Produce formative and summative assessments of key children’s progress.
* Promote an ethos within the setting that values and celebrates diversity, enabling all children and adults to make a positive contribution to nursery life.
* Contribute to practices including the key person system that support partnership working between parents, practitioners, and others to lay a secure foundation for children’s future learning and development.
* Liaise with the Lead Practitioner and Inclusion Co-ordinator when early signs of individual needs that could lead to later difficulties have been identified.
* Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
* Contribute to practices supporting individual children and families' transitions into the nursery between rooms and to school or other settings.
