This role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of multifunctional printers (MFPs), copiers, and managed-print devices across client sites in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain MFPs, printers, and photocopiers at client locations. Diagnose and repair hardware faults, software issues, and connectivity problems. Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimise device performance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance remotely and on-site. Assist with setting up print management software and network integration. Conduct user training to help clients get the most out of their print solutions. Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used. Stay up to date with the latest print technologies and troubleshooting methods. Requirements: Previous experience as a Print Engineer or a strong IT background. Strong knowledge of MFPs, copiers, and print management software (e.g., PaperCut, Equitrac). Understanding of networking and connectivity (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, printer drivers). Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and manage service schedules effectively. Full UK driving licence (as travel to client sites is required). Strong customer service and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Experience working with brands such as Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Kyocera, or HP. IT qualifications or certifications in networking or print management software. Knowledge of cloud printing solutions and secure print technologies.
