Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Legionella Risk Assessor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake legionella risk assessments to a high standard in line with the latest version of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274.
* Follow the British standard code of practice for risk assessing, BS8580-1 2019, and the Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises as necessary.
* Carry out legionella risk assessments predominantly using an electronic app-based system but also manually as required.
* Produce schematic diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
* Provide technical support where required.
* Ensure that Legionella Risk Assessments paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned within agreed timescales.
* Attend risk assessment review meetings with Clients when required.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in Legionella risk assessing.
* City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial.
* Wide knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274.
* Wide knowledge of the British standard code of practice for risk assessing, BS8580-1 2019.
* Knowledge of the Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises (desirable but not essential).
* Knowledge of cooling towers, process systems, and other systems (desirable but not essential).
* Suitable and sufficient experience working within the water treatment industry.
* Health and safety management skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Planning skills.
* Customer care/relationship building skills.
* Presentation skills.
* Computer/PDA skills, particularly with Word and Excel.
* Ability to draw schematic diagrams.
* Held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with no driving bans in the past 5 years and no more than 6 points current or pending.
