Job Description:
Tax Transformation ERP – Senior Manager
We are looking for talented Senior Managers to join us in Canada Square, London (although flexibility on location will be considered) with experience in a broad range of areas including:
* Deep tax transformation experience – the ability to analyse tax requirements, design tax processes and implement tax technology solutions
* Strong and practical ERP finance and tax experience, specifically in SAP S4 HANA, Oracle or Workday, as a foundation for tax processes
* Strong experience of design and configuration of ERP systems for tax purposes
* Strong experience of implementing VAT determination engines and bolt-ons, such as Vertex O-Series, Thomson Reuters OneSource Determination, or Meridian VAT Add-On
* Strong tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering from a tax, IT and users and creating and reviewing design documentation
* Tax process knowledge, for example indirect tax, direct tax and/or transfer pricing
* Strong familiarity with end-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax
* Advising on appropriate tax technology to support compliance and reporting processes
* Project management
* Client and engagement management
* Lead and manage the overall delivery of global and large tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program
* Helping clients to design, build and deploy ERP and tax automation solutions which are designed for Tax
* Supporting our clients understand the importance of Tax, the optimal way to address tax requirements in their countries and the value that it can bring
* Working together with our other Tax Transformation colleagues as well as other groups in KPMG such as Consulting
* Helping clients develop robust global governance and process frameworks
* Develop our service offerings and service delivery models
* Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with both existing and new clients
* Line manage managers and assistant managers and oversee output of offshore resource in order to deliver client projects;
* Identify opportunities to identify additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists.
* Coaching and technical support for other team members.
* Follow KPMG best practice and policy
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of technology and automation to drive efficiency, risk management and value
* Experience in process, risk and controls design
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills. Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
At senior manager level, you should be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development. You should demonstrate resilience, accountability, flexibility, and experience in leading teams, managing large engagements, and client relationships. Relevant qualifications include ATT / CTA / ACA or equivalent, with additional project management or transformation skills preferred. Specific skills include:
* Tax technical skills and Pillar 2 awareness for transformation support
* Experience in leading global or large UK tax, compliance, and reporting projects
* Experience with tax reporting, transfer pricing, direct/indirect tax, statutory accounting, project management, and managing multi-jurisdictional projects
* Experience in technology solutions projects, ERP, and tax technology systems (e.g., FICO, Thomson Reuters)
* Experience in designing and managing tax operating models, compliance, and reporting services
* Experience with data-focused solutions, automation, Azure data lakes, and similar technologies
