Finance Manager – Health & Fitness
Hybrid – 3 days in Surrey office, 2 from home – Fast-growing, purpose-driven business!

We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a high-growth health and fitness business in Surrey, recruiting a Finance Manager to oversee core financial reporting, strengthen controls, and play a central role in driving business-wide improvement initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong reporting experience to step into a visible, value-adding position. You'll work closely with the Finance Lead and outsourced finance support team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial operations - while also helping deliver transformation projects that will scale the finance function for future growth.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong commercial awareness, thrive in a fast-paced, mission-led environment, and enjoy being part of a business that promotes healthy living and positive change.
WISH LIST
* Strong background in financial reporting and controls
* Confident with Excel and financial systems
* Experience with statutory accounting and internal controls
* Health, wellness, retail, or fast-growth industry background (nice to have)
THE ROLE:
* Lead the month-end close process - ensuring accurate and timely posting of journals, reconciliations, and reports
* Own the preparation and review of key Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Produce statutory accounts and manage the external audit process
* Maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies and audit standards
* Support preparation of monthly forecasts and budgets for central/indirect cost areas
Team Leadership & Business Improvement
* Partner closely with the Finance Lead to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
* Work with an outsourced finance team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of day-to-day finance tasks
* Support finance transformation initiatives—such as new system rollouts and automation projects
* Manage and develop a Finance Analyst, providing clear structure, support, and progression opportunities
* Present quarterly Balance Sheet risk and opportunity reviews to senior stakeholders
