Key Responsibilities To be able follow a set of instructions and produce materials to our high level of quality control Ensuring the safe and accurate loading of customer orders. Serving customers in the yard to ensure customer orders are fulfilled completely. To assemble customer orders in the yard and production areas so that they are ready for uplift or collection by couriers / transport companies, which may require the use of a counterbalance forklift truck or manual pallet truck. Ensuring all stock is safely stored and protected against the weather & damage. Check stock levels & advise when stocks are low so they can be re-ordered in time. Dealing with damages effectively and promptly. Driving company vehicles safely to deliver customer orders or make site to site transfers(where applicable) Significant repeat manual handling during shifts. Ensuring personal compliance with all Health and Safety obligations. Key Skills Required Excellent communication skills and a friendly and helpful approach at all times. Great customer service skills and the ability to manage task and time effectively to meet collection timescales from 3 rd party couriers. Holding a full clean driving licence. (Desirable) Holding a current Forklift Certificate would be useful.
