Job summary An exciting opportunity for a senior photographer role has become available, to join our friendly and hard working photography team at UHDB. The role will be primarily based at the Royal Derby Hospital (RDH) and Florence Nightingale Community Hospital (FNCH), with the requirement to travel between all sites when needed, also working at Queens Hospital Burton (QHB). This key role will require you to develop, support and aid the delivery of a comprehensive and high quality medical photography service, to a wide-ranging number of clinical specialities. Photographic duties will be carried out in our photographic studios and at multiple locations across the Trust. 1 x part time position - 30 hrs per week Main duties of the job Produce high quality clinical photography of patients in the photographic studio and on location in clinic, ward and theatre settings to a high standard.Undertake a range of ophthalmic imaging modalities including FFA's, ICG's and Fundus Photography.Work closely with the service manager in the supervision of the clinical photographers and trainees, and maintenance of service, including quality control and performance review.To supervise and train Clinical Photography staff in the use of existing and new technologies.Ensure Trust and department policies and procedures are followed, and offer advice and guidance to a range of service users and health professionals.Use of image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and other specialist software and IT systems.Perform a range of non-clinical photography including public relations, staff portraits and photography of medical equipment.
