Responsibilities
1. The Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects.
2. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, coordinating, and motivating a workforce ensuring that teams are working to maximum efficiency.
3. Possess in-depth knowledge of the Scaffolding industry, including standards and regulations.
4. Candidates would ideally have experience of working with main contractors and will be required to attend client and senior management meetings.
5. Responsible for planning all Scaffolding activities from site survey to completion of works, this will include organising labour, equipment, and transport.
6. Liaise with clients, scaffolders, and supervisors to ensure the continued smooth running of all live sites and ongoing work.
7. Organise Labour and Projects.
8. Schedule Future Works.
9. Be familiar in reading and working to Scaffold Design Drawings.
10. Liaise with Director / Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day business of the company.
11. Bring in additional resources as and when required.
12. Attend site to inspect and ensure that all scaffolders are in compliance with site-specific / company regulations.
13. Organise Vehicle Fleet and produce Load Lists.
14. Develop further business from our existing client base and bring in new business.
15. Ensure variations to contract are properly documented, priced, and billed.
16. Assist our Office Manager to ensure prompt booking and billing of ongoing works, and willingly resolve disputes that may arise.
17. Keep abreast of new legislation, government policy, and best practice as well as helping to gain additional qualifications and accreditations relevant to the industry.
18. Monitor closely the activity, costs, labour, and performance of projects.
Minimum Requirements
1. Organised and experienced with planning.
2. Performance monitoring.
3. Efficient contract management.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. A motivated leader with man management skills.
6. CISRS Qualification, SSSTS / SMSTS, and Scaffold Inspection would be preferable.
